新的一年以這樣的開始實在是太美好了！我的作品登上了二月份即將在義大利出刊的NBA官方雜誌 Rivista Ufficiale NBA!!!!

內文以跨頁的方式訪問我一些對於創作及NBA的一些看法；重點是，這份雜誌介紹了我的作品，讓作品們及台灣兩字登上國際版面！雖然現階段我仍在苦苦的找尋合作機會，但這個消息對我來說實在是莫大的鼓勵阿！目前實體雜誌正飄洋過海運輸中，好想趕快拿到手...

大約12月初的時候，Rivista Ufficiale NBA 的美術編輯寫了一封email給我，邀請我成為他們下一刊1月份的「NBA藝術專題」的訪談創作者之一，我二話不說，立馬就答應了，這種免費宣傳的機會不要放過！但好事多磨，正在我覺得怎麼時間都過了好幾個月，都還沒有刊登的消息傳來，原來是他們訪談的創作者太多，我的作品就被擠壓到了二月份。

以下是訪談內容，全英文＋中文翻譯

BIO. Based in Taipei Taiwan, Roger Huang (1984) is an illustrator who creates artwork for magazines, posters, t-shirts and more. Nowadays, he is not only a freelance illustrator but also dedicated to sport business like basketball and soccer. His clients include XXL Magazine, Posterize, Hupu China and many more. 

1) What's your relation with NBA basketball?
Every kid who likes basketball all have a dream to be a player in NBA, even thin and small Asian boy like me. But it's really hard and seems impossible for most of children. So I change my mind, I decide to use my pen and digital design skills to get attention from and relate with NBA. Now, I am still making sport artworks and searching opportunities provide my talent to anyone who interested in my works. Contact me if my works fit your projects.

2) Are you a fan? What's your favourite team?
Sure, my favorite team is Detroit Piston in 2004, the bad boy II who beat the purple and gold. Chauncey, Rip, Sheed, Big Ben and Prince. Although some of them are retired and parted to different teams, they still are the best team in my mind.

3) Have you ever been to an NBA game?
Yes, I have been to New York Madison Square Garden to watch an NBA game in 2010.

4) If yes: do you remember the first one?
That was first and only experience I have. So it really impressed me at the game NY Knicks v.s Atlanta Hawks. Knicks didn't have Camelo at that time yet. So A. Stoudemire was the franchise player and he did a good job to lead the team in the season. But at the game night, Jamal Crawford was a beast who from bench scored a game-high 21 points to lead team victory. It was very interesting when Knick's players came off worse at the game, the audiences, "the New Yorker" would boo and
hiss their players immediately and cruelly.

5) Who's your NBA idol? Why?
Of course is Chauncey Billups, Michael Jordan is too far away for my age. I started to watch ball game seriously at the playoffs series in 2004, Detroit Piston sank LA Lakers to win the championship. I didn't really like Kobe and O'Neal at the time, but they were the best Combo. Especially they had Karl Malone and Gary Payton, it's a crazy line-up. Despite of that, Billups, Mr. Big Shot, still led team to win the finals by selfless teamwork and characteristics of calm. Until now, he still plays as a competent leader on the court.

1. 你與NBA籃球的關係？
像我一樣又瘦又矮的東方小孩都曾經有過進軍NBA的夢想，但現實是殘酷的，於是我決定轉換方式，以畫筆跟我的創作希望吸引NBA及運動相關產業的目光，並尋找合作機會，來提供我的專才。

2. 你是運動迷嗎？你最喜歡的隊伍是？

我最喜歡的隊伍是2004年奪冠的那隻底特律活塞隊「壞孩子二世」，他們擊敗了當時的奪冠大熱門，紫金湖人F4，十分振奮人心！雖然那支隊伍現在已經不在，成員有的轉隊、有的退休，但他們在我心中仍是最佳隊伍。

3. 你有去看過NBA現場球賽嗎？

在2010年曾經去過一次紐約麥迪遜花園廣場觀看尼克對老鷹的比賽，那是第一次也是唯一的一次。

4. 感想是？
那時候尼克隊還沒得到卡梅羅安東尼，他們靠著斯陶德邁爾引領前進，他那時候其實做得不錯。但是那天晚上老鷹隊痛宰了尼克隊，揪妹尻佛從板凳跳出殺翻了尼克，很有趣的是，當尼克表現不佳的時候，「紐約客」是會毫不吝嗇地給予噓聲。

5. 哪位球員是你的偶像？為什麼？

當然是嗆蜥畢拉普斯。喬丹離我的年代有點遠，我大約是在04年開始認真地追看NBA，所以那年的總冠軍MVP自然成了我的偶像，他的穩定及從容不迫帶領着活塞奪冠，儘管他現在已經老化，但他始終還是隊上的領袖人物。
